Do you have a digital GIC with us? We'll continue to service your digital GIC until maturity.
Because your digital GIC has been converted to a new banking system, you may receive two T5 tax slips in 2023, based on your digital GIC interest payments and maturity date. If you have a digital GIC under which interest is paid annually, your annual interest payment will be sent by cheque to the mailing address we have on file. When your digital GIC reaches its maturity date, we will pay out your principal amount and accrued and unpaid interest by cheque to the mailing address we have on file. Please note that any previous renewal or maturity instructions no longer apply.
