Concentra Financial Celebrates Eight Years as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies

Concentra Financial is honoured to be designated as one of Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies for 2010. This is our eighth consecutive year holding this designation, and our second within the ranks of the Platinum Club, an award to organizations who have maintained their 50 Best designation for six consecutive years or more.

“Receiving this prestigious award and achieving this high level of Canadian business excellence is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our employees, the guidance of our Board of Directors, and to the relationships with our credit union system partners”, says Ken Kosolofski, President and CEO, Concentra Financial. “Third party designation and industry recognition affirms that Concentra, and our co-operative culture, is on the right track to achieving continued success.”

Sponsored by Deloitte, CIBC Commercial Banking, Queen’s School of Business and the National Post, the Canada’s 50 Best Managed Companies program was created to recognize successful Canadian companies that have proven to be innovative, profitable and responsive to changing economic conditions. This designation symbolizes Canadian corporate success: companies focused on their core vision, creating stakeholder value and excelling in the global economy. Every year, since the launch of the program in 1993, hundreds of companies have competed for this designation in a rigorous and independent process that evaluates their management skills and practices.

“Combined with positive 2010 year-end financial results, this distinction affirms that Concentra continues to effectively adapt to a challenging economic environment,” says Kosolofski. Proud to be a part of the Canadian co-operative financial system, Concentra focuses on strong relationships, innovation, collaboration and exceptional service to consistently move credit unions forward. “In the spirit of co-operation, we thank you.”
